A beloved community is a place where injustice ceases and love prevails. We aim to build a place where everyone feels welcome be they singers in the choir or people just listening to us sing. We are all in community together.
Membership in the Beloved Community Gospel Choir is open to anyone aged 18 and above regardless of faith, race, gender, citizenship status, country of origin, sex assigned at birth, or your opinion on Hawaiian pizza! When we say everyone, we mean EVERYONE!
There is something undeniable about music from the Black Gospel tradition. You may not be able to put your finger on it but we bet you aren't able to keep still while we sing. The power is electrifying and we invite you to be a part of the community!
